My purpose in writing this book was twofold: to clarify in my own mind a reasonable, logical sequence of events in the life of Jesus and to write a short,easy to read, life of Jesus for those who feel they do not have time to read the Bible in its entirety.  I have omitted many of the miracles Jesus performed and many of his parables and teachings. I shortened some of the long discourses John attributed to Jesus.  In some places, I combined parts from different writers into one incident.The bulk of the material was drawn directly from the four gospels.
